The Louise RC rims consist of a mixture of high-quality nylon granulate and are additionally fiber-reinforced if necessary. These composite materials were specially developed by Dupont® for Louise RC. tire inserts The tires are fitted either with special preformed foam inserts or with cut foam inserts. The inserts are selected in an optimal density and dimensions to ensure perfect cushioning and dimensional stability of the tire. Mounted - glued Due to the extreme loads, the tire must be firmly connected to the rim. Louise RC takes great care to ensure the tires are properly bonded. For years she has been looking for the best way to glue the tires not only well, but also cleanly. Today, Louise RC is recognized as one of the best in the RC industry. The tires are glued with a special rubber cyanoacrylate glue. This glue was specially developed for Louise RC to guarantee a perfect bond that can withstand all extreme forces. The following steps are performed in production at Louise RC to achieve a perfect bond; The tire rings to be glued are lightly sanded and degreased. The surface of the rim to be bonded is lightly sanded and degreased. The tire is glued to the rim well with the help of a special dosing device with cyanoacrylate glue. This means that the same amount of adhesive is always applied. The glued tire is pressed for a certain time to ensure perfect adhesion and curing. Each hoop goes through a rotation and pull test to ensure a perfect connection. RACING compound Louise RC racing tires are made from a special rubber compound that places high demands on the grip that the tire offers, but also on its wear. The racing tires are available in 2 different rubber compounds: Soft and Super Soft. The tires also build up more grip when the ideal temperature is reached. That's why we always recommend doing a few laps first to get the tires up to temperature.
